Peterson's System Standard series represents the pinnacle of our production. Introduced initially in 1945 and based on Charles Peterson's final patent of 1898, this line offers a design aimed at ensuring a cooler, drier smoke. Each pipe features a deep reservoir within the shank to collect excess moisture, a graduated bore mouthpiece that channels smoke while allowing moisture to collect, a robust nickel military mount enabling disassembly and cleaning without damage, and our patented P-Lip bit directing smoke upward, reducing tongue bite. In addition to the traditional P-Lip bit, we also offer System Standard pipes with fishtail stems. Available here in the rich ruby stain of the Heritage finish.
