A self-taught pipemaker and pipe smoker himself, Luigi began making pipes in his spare time for himself and friends in 1972. His passion for creating pipes took over, and in 1984 he decided to take the leap to independence. Since then, his pipes, characterized by perfect birdseye or flame grain, have been highly sought after. Viprati offers several series, including the "Collection Special," decorated with elaborate silver work applied to the stem and bowl, true works of art.
